Rina's House History - Rina's House

Rina's House History

The house was built room by room in 1945. In those poor years, the whole family lived in one room. There was a barn that housed a donkey and later it became a kitchen. Our grandfather emigrated in Germany to find work and our grandmother had to raise the 3 children of the family, as well as the cultivation of the vineyard. Grandma and Grandpa passed away and left us their home to remember them.
In April 2019, the grandchildren completed the renovation of the Rina’s House buildings.

Clean and comfortable with a small kitchenette that was helpful during our stay. Since it was a little house, it was nice that we did not share walls with other guests.
Thank you Dimitra and Lazaros for making my visit to Meteora so special and unforgettable. You both have been super kind with me. I highly recommend to stay here.
It is the cutest house with everything that I needed for my stay. The host is incredible, she contacted me the day before my stay, and provided all information that I needed to get to the apartment. She also provided information about restaurants, taverns and activities in the area. She also contacted me during my stay to ask if I needed anything. Definitely one of the best places with the best services that I've experienced so far.
Very nice and cosy place to rest after exploring and hiking around Meteora. The host was great, she gave us a lot of good information about the place, where to hike and eat. Also the communication and was clear and easy to follow. It helped since we arrive a little latter than expected.
We stayed in a small house on the property. The location was excellent--it was quiet and close to a hiking trail, and pretty close to the main town for restaurants and shopping. We didn't spend much time in the house, but it was comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchenette. There was also a selection of maps and menus which was helpful. What made our stay outstanding was the service we received from Dimitra. She was wonderful! She gave us great recommendations for where to eat and what to do. Thanks to her info, we had a fun adventure hiking to the different monasteries. We wanted to leave our bags past the check-out time, and she came up with a good solution.
A lovely little house that kept original regional architecture and looks. It has a cosy garden and offers the traveler all you need. It's almost on the path to Meteora, and just 5 minutes from Karampaka centre.Owners are very kind and nice, and they'll give you all the tips where to eat, or what to see and visit in the region. They really made our staying great.
Dimitra is a super kind host. She is very helpfull and brings a lot of suggestions for you to make the most out of your stay in Meteora when it comes to activities. Dimitra is always available for questions or a nice chat.I would reccomend this accommodation to everyone.
Dimitra was way too helpful on every aspects. The house is really cosy and in a great location!
The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in yet! the location was lovely with the giant rock pinnacles towering over head. it was a 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops. perfect distance. the holy trinity monastery hike is right out the back door. Dimitria gave me soooooo many helpful recommendations that made my trip better. I rented an e-bike from meteora e-bikes and that was a lovely way to get around to the monasteries and other hikes. 2 full days was a perfect amount of time to see and do everything.
